VACANCY: Insolvency and Business Review Manager Ref: IBRM-0409
Core Job Description:
An Insolvency and Business Review Manager is required to undertake a range of duties, including:
- Assisting in the management of a case load of insolvency and corporate recovery cases
- Undertaking Business Reviews
- Assisting in Accounts Troubleshooting consultancy engagements
The position is full time, 37.5 hours per week in usual office hours (09:30 to 17:30).

Personal Qualities:
This is a highly responsible position, requiring professionalism, discretion and responsibility.
The successful candidate will:
- Be diligent, trustworthy, hard working and demonstrate an ability to maintain meticulous records
- Be a self starter, motivated and able to work on his/her own initiative.
- Be able to take ownership of and undertake substantial elements of case work under supervision from the Senior Partner
- Has the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Take responsibility and deliver results as an individual within a growing firm
- Deal confidently and courteously with important clients
- Be prepared to be flexible and apply herself/himself to a variety of business development tasks
- Be committed to their work and to the fulfilment of work requirements placed upon them by all customers including those within the Firm
- Have good IT skills (be familiar with MS Office and Windows XP as a computer user not as an IT expert)
- Have good document preparation skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using commonly used accounting software
Qualifications and Experience:
- Have three or more years experience of working in insolvency practice or business recovery and turnaround
- Have relevant Accounting, Insolvency or Business professional qualifications
Location:
May be asked to work regularly, from time to time, at various offices belonging to the firm, e.g. South Oxfordshire, Reading, Ealing and, less frequently, Cardiff
Salary & Benefits:
Benefits vary by office location but include, in South Oxfordshire, access to on-site restaurant, crèche facilities and free parking.
Salary is negotiable for the right person depending on qualifications and experience but up to £40,000 per annum.
